Deleting your account

This is a reference translation for convenience. The Japanese version is the only binding text; if the two differ, the Japanese prevails.
You can delete your PencilDB account yourself, at any time. You do not need to wait for the operator.
How
- Sign in on the site or in the app
- Open “My page”
- Choose “Close account”
- Press “Close account” again on the confirmation screen
This cannot be undone. Deletion happens immediately.
What is deleted
- Your account details (nickname, email address, name, date of birth, gender, country and region)
- Your collection and your wants
- Any purchase prices you entered
- Photos you uploaded
- Friendships and the messages you exchanged
What remains
The part-number records themselves, and their sources, remain. This is a database of writing instruments, separate from what you personally own. The link to you is removed, so nothing traces back to you.
If you cannot sign in
If you cannot delete the account yourself — for example because you have lost your password — write to sato-s@ideo.co.jp. We will delete it once we can confirm it is you.
