About this company
Faber-Castell was founded in Germany in 1761 and is one of the oldest writing-instrument makers in the world. It has stayed in the same family for nine generations.
It is also the company that spread the pencil grading letters (HB, 2B and so on) and the standard hexagonal barrel. Its fine writing instruments are sold as the Graf von Faber-Castell collection.
