A writing shop at Obernstraße 5 in Bielefeld's old town, just off the Alter Markt. The family business was founded in 1929 and has traded here since 1964. It works under three headings — writing, living, giving — and puts personal advice above everything, taking time with whoever comes through the door. Montblanc, Cross, Graf von Faber-Castell, Caran d'Ache and Waldmann are among the makers. Customers travel from well beyond Bielefeld for it. A shop for deciding by looking and asking.
