It can be reached straight off the train, which makes it easy to fold into a shopping trip or a change of lines. Platinum is carried on the fountain pen side, alongside everyday stationery and giftable pieces. Station-building hours run late enough to catch on the way home from work. The range is not a specialist's, but the pens can be handled and tried.
