LE STYLO

It began in 1960 when Jean-Pierre and Jacqueline Tripon opened Bordeaux Stylo, in an age when everything was written by hand and film still had to be developed. Their son Bruno moved the business in 1991 into the Galerie des Grands Hommes, in Bordeaux's golden triangle — a former market rebuilt as a shopping gallery by the architect Claude-Henri Aubert, and opened in 1992 by Queen Elizabeth II. A family business of three generations, in a gallery named for France's great writers.
