DE CORTE IRIS

A pen shop at Sint-Amandsstraat 28 in Bruges, a family business since 1926 and now run by Iris De Corte, the third generation. A stone's throw from the Grote Markt, it is known for paper goods, fine leather and pens. Its thinking is to stock for the person: slimmer elegant pens for women, sturdier models for men, first fountain pens for children — and pieces meant to pass from parent to child. Visconti, Caran d'Ache and S.T. Dupont are carried, alongside office supplies, stamps and engraving, perfumes, cufflinks and shaving sets.
