Herbert R Tribbeck, a clockmaker from Lymington, founded the firm with his brother Frank on the city's Silver Street in 1905; the fourth generation runs it now. Wedding and engagement rings and stone-set pieces in gold and platinum fill the showroom, and repairs to jewellery, watches and silver are a speciality, alongside insurance and probate valuations and the buying of old gold. It belongs to the British Watch & Clock Makers Guild and the National Association of Jewellers. Waldmann is carried on the writing side.
