Cartoleria Pantheon

A stationer at Via della Maddalena 41, near the Pantheon in Rome, built around leather-bound books and handmade paper: hardbound leather diaries, leather covers whose contents can be swapped, and the refills for them. The paper inside is handmade Amalfi stock, some of it printed in gold. The bindings carry names — Raffaello, Rinascimento, Caravaggio — and some close with a leather thong. Brass sealing stamps with wax, and boxed sets of Amalfi letter paper with envelopes, are stocked too. For anyone who wants to make a letter, not just send one.
