Fountain Pen Hospital

A fountain pen shop at 10 Warren Street in Lower Manhattan, carrying an unusually wide roster — Aurora, Pelikan, Pilot, Platinum, Omas, Montegrappa, Visconti, Waterman, Parker and more. Its signature is the Back Room, a standing collection of pens from the 1980s to the present: limited-edition rarities, pre-owned pieces, even mint-condition survivors, with the stock refreshed every Thursday. Montblanc's Oscar Wilde and Ramses II, Montegrappa's celluloid editions and their like turn up there. The place to look for a pen no longer sold.
