A paper and stationery specialist in Higashi-marunouchi, Tsu, Mie prefecture, founded in 1904 and marking its 120th year in 2024. Fountain pens run to Pilot, Platinum, Lamy, Pelikan, Waterman, Aurora and Caran d'Ache, and the paper side is deep, with planners from Delfonics and Mark's among others. Calligraphy is taken seriously too: an autumn fair puts nearly all brush-and-ink supplies at twenty per cent off, and brushes and inkstones can be left in for cleaning. The shop also makes limited notebooks with local artists. Good for seeing paper and pens together.
