Antica Cartotecnica

A stationer on Piazza dei Caprettari in Rome, started in 1930 by Elisa Berti and her family and trading on the same spot for close to a century. Inside is a small antique world of old pens, inkwells and vintage objects, where rarities for collectors sit beside fine leather goods. Current pens run to Aurora, Montblanc, Visconti, Leonardo and Caran d'Ache. The shop calls itself a workshop of artisans — making and mending are part of the trade — and it services and repairs pens and makes pieces to order. Open 10:00–13:30 and 15:30–19:30.
