BUNGUBOX

A stationery shop on the ground floor of the Kinkado Building in Sarugakucho, Kanda, Tokyo. It began in Shizuoka and is known for the colours of its own inks and for the bottle they come in, shaped like the heel of a shoe — iron gall and pigment inks included. Fountain pens run to Pilot, Sailor, Platinum, Pelikan, Kaweco, TWSBI and Esterbrook. Open 12:00 to 18:00 (from 11:00 on Saturdays), closed Wednesdays, with seasonal changes worth checking on the calendar. A shop to visit for the colours.
