Selfridges London

The writing counter on the lower ground floor of Selfridges at 400 Oxford Street in London. Opened in 1909, it is one of Britain's landmark department stores, covering fashion, beauty, jewellery, homeware and food. On the writing side it carries Montblanc, Caran d'Ache, Visconti, Cross, Graf von Faber-Castell and S.T. Dupont, all of which can be handled and tried. It faces the main shopping street, and wrapping and returns run with a department store's routine — easy to fold a pen into a day's shopping.
