A writing instrument specialist in Atago, Chūō ward, Niigata city — Pen Box, run by the stationer Takizawa. It holds more than three thousand kinds of fountain pen and ballpoint, Japanese and imported, and calls itself the largest pen specialist on the Sea of Japan coast. The point of that depth is that pens can be tried until one fits.
