ITO-YA Yokohama Takashimaya

An Itoya shop inside Yokohama Takashimaya, beside the west exit of Yokohama station. The range runs from everyday stationery to gifts, but its claim is the fine writing counter: the largest selection in Kanagawa prefecture, Japanese and imported alike. Sailor, Platinum, Visconti and Caran d'Ache are among the makers, and gift wrapping is free. Open 10:00 to 20:00 daily. Reachable on foot from the JR, Tokyu, Minatomirai, Sotetsu, subway and Keikyu lines, which makes it easy to get to for a gift pen.
