A fountain pen shop at Carrer de Fontanella 18 in central Barcelona, family-run through three generations since 1929, and holding what it describes as one of the largest writing stocks on the market. New releases sit beside the standards, this year's special editions included — Sailor's limited Zou To Gekkou, Kaweco's Marble Ocean, the Lamy Safari in Meteora and Meteorite Black. Lamy, Kaweco, Sailor, Leonardo, Pelikan, Montblanc and Caran d'Ache are among the names. Hand engraving and repairs are done in house, so a pen can be brought back afterwards.
