METTROP

A stationer at Vughterstraat 13–17 in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. It began in 1881, when G.J. Mettrop and son opened an office bookshop in the building known as Het Duifje. P. Altenburg took it over in 1936, the third generation of that family carried it on fifty-seven years later, and since 1993 Roel and Karin have been at the helm. Office supplies and fine stationery are the trade, with Graf von Faber-Castell on the writing side. More than a hundred and forty years on the same old-town street.
