It began with Romulus, the founder, and has worked through Numa Pompilius, who gave the city forty-one years of peace, Tullus Hostilius, Ancus Marcius the builder, and Rome's first Etruscan ruler, a pen a year. They appear under the mark 753, an idea of the owners of five Roman pen shops together. For anyone after something that can only be bought where it was made.
