Plume et Bille

A pen and leather goods shop at 38 rue de l'Arcade in the Madeleine quarter of Paris's 8th arrondissement. It is a shop devoted to the art of writing, and its way is to receive one customer at a time and talk the choice through. Fountain pens, rollerballs, ballpoints, pencils and propelling pencils run from the plain to the illustrious: Montblanc, Caran d'Ache, S.T. Dupont, Graf von Faber-Castell, Diplomat, Pilot. Namiki's chinkin and maki-e pieces are carried too, and the shop writes about their Japanese motifs. Advice is given by telephone for those further afield.
