Kandarakis Jewellery

A jeweller on the corner of Valaoritou and Voukourestiou in Athens, begun in 1955 when the nineteen-year-old Stelios Kandarakis opened his workshop. Its way is to draw the design out in conversation with the customer and have craftsmen trained in fine jewellery realise it. Diamonds are explained through the four Cs — cut, carat, colour, clarity — before a choice is made. Handmade rings and earrings, wedding and christening pieces, and a line of corporate gifts fill out the range. Waldmann is carried on the writing side.
