Orenz Nero Limited Set: A Review After Buying Every Color

Japanese stationery YouTuber "Seasar Stationery" (1.05 million subscribers) bought all six variants (3 colors × 2 lead sizes) of Pentel's "Orenz Nero Limited Set" and reviewed them. This article summarizes the content of that video.

About the product

Each set costs 7,920 yen (tax included). It includes the mechanical pencil body (0.3mm or 0.5mm), a dedicated "Click Eraser for Orenz Nero," "Pentel Ain" replacement leads, and a metal lead case. Colors are the standard Black plus two limited colors, Carbon Black and Green Black — three in total. Lead sizes are 0.3mm and 0.5mm only; there's no 0.2mm option.

What the video says

The video praises the Carbon Black limited color's finish, which looks like carved graphite, and the understated military look of Green Black. It also highlights the quality of the included metal lead case — how its 12-sided faces line up perfectly when screwed shut, and its large capacity of up to 80 leads of 0.5mm. On the other hand, it points out that the set doesn't include the signature 0.2mm lead size, and that the plastic packaging tray is stiff and hard to remove items from.
